Heres a link to the pdf page:

Discovery Life plan range 2018

NEW Smart Life Plan: for young professionals.

What I like! Offers cover from R100 per month (this is amazing… starts Jan 2018).

NEW Global Education Protector.

What I like! Utilises some new thinking and besides the risk cover, offers a university funder benefit (can pay up to 100% of Varsity fees).

Essential Life Plan cost effective premium. No payback on this plan.

Classic Life Plan This is the first type of Discovery Life Plan. Offers upfront premium discounts and up to 50% premium paybacks. This is the vehicle that most people with Discovery plans are using for their cover.

Business Life Plan Designed primarily for business assurance uses. Has a Principal Payback Fund, of up to 200 times the initial monthly premium. With 5 yearly payouts based on your health management.

What I like! When you use for business assurance, and you are taking out cover on someone who is of a different health to yourself … if you are maintaining your health and someone has the cover on you… the payback pays to the life insured. Which is nice, we all know people that if you are paying the premium, on them couldn’t care less about their health… now there is an incentive to care.

Dollar Life Plan Used for when you want cover in International terms. Offers cover in US Dollars. Also has a payback fund. Great for when you have international assets, or move around internationally.

NEW Purple Life Plan for select clients with over R10 million local and global life cover. Offers an immediate boost to life cover at no extra premium. Also offers up to 58% additional life cover, with no underwriting.

So, for those getting confused… those are the extreme basics in a nutshell.
